Is anyone finding the usage monitor is not accurate with the actual download amounts found on the aanet members section? Here is a screenshot, the program tells me i have download more than one GB what the website it telling me, and before you ask the peak/off peak setting is on ½ which is correct for my plan. http://i250.photobucket.com/ It seems the offpeak downloads are just being added onto the 'downloaded' coloumn. Cheers |

it looks correct to me. the offpeak downloads are still counted towards your normal usage, just at a lower rate as stated in your plan. the total downloads on the aanet meter is the peak downloads plus the effective offpeak downloads. the numbers in the usage monitor (made by a customer and not by aanet) shows what you could have depending on which period you used the remaining data in. or have I miss understood your issue? edit: IIRC the reason there is a quota amount for peak and offpeak is that there are some plans that do not follow the normal aanet plan of reduced rate for the offpeak, but actually has a actual data amount. |

Total downloads in the month = 5283 MB Hover your mouse over the downloaded figure. That figure is actual bytes downloaded. |

It seems the offpeak downloads are just being added onto the 'downloaded' coloumn. They are. It is downloaded data, not counted data. "Months downloads to date" Is counted data. To work this out from aanet meter get your total download limit 10240 and take the Peak remaining 5889. 10240 – 5889 = 4351. When you get to the end of the month your downloaded can be MORE than your "Usage Quota" due to use of off peak bonus. |

I mean no disrespect to the creator of the program, but couldn't it have been made so that it displayes the counted data, considering it is retireiving the data directly from aanet. It all seems a bit pointless the way it currently is, as i can only use it as a rough guide. |

Have you tried playing with the option on the History tab as to whether to show counted offpeak or total offpeak bytes? I don't have it in front of me at the moment but I have a feeling it effects what you see on this tab too. |

ThePistonHead writes... Total downloads in the month = 5283 MB Do you have trouble with English? Hover your mouse over the downloaded figure. You can also hover over the tray icon (which will move to the top of the queue though). |

That's how it was originally and people complained that they wanted to see the actual amounts that they had downloaded. How hard is it to hover the mouse over the downloads as foxidrive suggested? At the end of the day, the green bars show you how much is left and that's all that really matters. |
