I have ADSL line sync – just no auth

have tried 3 modems now , rebooted, etc etc ..and more etc's

and checked telstra page

for outages and nothing there!

Whats next , its been down for over 2 hrs now #-o

and my account is up to date, in case anyone asks!

I'm not on the proxy , and without auth i cant do a thing.

i reckon telstra blokes left the kingscliff exchange at 4pm and turned all the switches off lol

it came back up magically after near 5 hrs down !!!!

Strange as as it may seem all of a sudden I also do not have to use the proxy anymore which I had to use to "Find the Server" and the usage meter also has started working again.

when it first died around 4pm , first thing I did was dial up and check the status page , which i checked a few times . That northern NSW outage WASNT there at that time . :-( takes them a while to update things .. anyway its all fixed :-)

lol. I just looked at the outages that are currently affecting customers, one started on Jul 27 the other on Jul 24.

They work hard on maintaining a high state of imperfection in the system.
