Does anyone know why tvaus.com.au has been returning the error: "phpBB : Critical Error Error creating new session" since the weekend? Can other Adam users confirm they get this error too? I think it is probably not just Adam users, but when I posted in the "On the Internet" forum, the moderator deleted my thread because I had not detailed the steps taken according to this thread: The wiki also suggests that posting in an ISP-related forum may be more successful, so here it is. Edit: the site is contactable, via tracert, etc. Presumably the error is produced by the bulletin board software at the site. |

"phpBB : Critical Error I get that too. But http://downforeveryoneorjustme.com/ suggests the site is up. You probably need someone on another ISP to confirm for you. |

Yes, I checked downformeoreveryone, but that presumably just indicates the site is contactable (responds to pings, etc.) rather than what it does when you get there. There has been a post on aus.tv from someone else saying they get the error too, but I don't know who their ISP is. I will try to find out. |

It is not an issue with your computer, browser, cookies, etc. It is also not an issue with your ISP. Edited -deleted uninformed opinion after re-reading OP. I actually don't think the post should have been deleted from On the internet – certainly wasn't a normal "is this site down" thread. |

what was the site? And yeah the second to last post is right, it's just their PHP software dying, could be an attack, could be the admin doesn't know what the hell he's doing, could be the server changing settings and permissions, could be anytthing. |

While you guys wait for TVAus.com.au to come back up (if it ever does), why not head over to http:// www.mytvaus.com for your TV fix. Also home of the TVAus podcast. |

I had come across that site before, so I had another look and found out from the comments that tvaus.com.au is back up today before I even tried it! |

As an aside, I use www.yourtv.com.au, especially for setting up a daily email alert, as well as www.tvtonight.com.au for Aus TV news. |
