Hi all!

I'm going to move from DODO Wireless Broadband to "3".
"3" has better deal at the moment for me.

I've visited "3 Shop" and asked if i can buy only '"3" sim-card to start using their wireless broadband with my DODO Huawei E220 modem witch i already own, but they adviced to unlock my modem first to make sure if "3" sim-card will work with my DODO modem.

is anybody know if my modem locked to DODO and how to check it?
and if it is locked how to unlock it?

This is probably something you want to google. I put in the model number and 'unlock' and stuff came up that looked useful.

not sure about unlocking

but im currently seeing 2 types of modem the 220 and a 160? i think there is a bit of info around on the 160 which seems to be mostly in europe or jsut an early model and we got a new one in aus
all providers have the same modem

ps... how did you get the damned thing to install in the firstplace >_<
