hi

this started on thursday night
and hasnt gotten better

i have soul 256k

so ive tracert and pinged sites like google and microsoft

and im getting 25-100% packet loss and request timed out

when i do try to access them through internet explorer either i get page cannot be displayed or takes forever to load the page only to see bits of graphic and writing

ive tracert/pinged mysoul.com.au and all good, and i can access this site no worries

i use 2 net programs tcpoptimizer and cablenut, but the net has worked fine with them before

ive only recently reformated and fresh installed everything only changes ive made to my comp(win2000) when the net start acting up was installing openoffice.org and lexmark printing drivers

ive also tried power cycling and checking the phone filter

apparently people on soul in wa have had browsing problems since thursday, and they're still trying to fix it =\

^^^ only affecting a number of Perth DSL services and if you look at the traceroutes you can see that the packetloss is occuring outside of Australia.
