Whirlpool

Here at my dads place, he has an unlimited 512kbps plan with AAPT.
It works fine with browsing, downloading, and games like BF2 or CSS.
The problem is that on CoH I can rarely connect to people, even Australians. And with Rome: Total war I can't play anything over 1v1 games or I never connect and crash the game for everyone.
I've tried things like turning off firewall, and restarting the games, but nothing seems to work.
*The modem is some kind of small 'speedtouch' that came with the broadband deal.

Yeah this is where many people go wrong with games, not too many people that aren't tech savy know about port forwarding.
