Can someone tell me if adsl codes on my line are dropped when my account is cancelled?
ie I unfortunately am due to churn the day after cancellation from my old isp. Would it be a churn or new appl.

ADSL1 or ADSL2+?

Assuming ADSL1, if the codes drop off the day before, then it'll probably be a new connection.

Everything worked out fine. I was able to log on to my new isp as soon as the Comcen connection dropped, which thankfully was the morning after the notified cancellation date.

I'm in the same boat, thanks for the update.

Comcen need 30 days cancellation notice and for churn to work you CANT cancel your account. I have put in my 30 days notice and will sign up a week or 2 before my codes are removed and pray that telstra get nodes ticket before comcens :\
