For the last week i have been receiving these adult emails from canada pharmacies and other websites but with other peoples email addresses in the To column. We have 2 email accounts in the family and the other email account is receiving the same emails but with their email address in it. No one has ever been on these websites before so i dont know why we are getting them.
Is anyone else having this problem and if so how do we stop it as i have blocked the domain and sender but still get about 15 to 30 a day.Im sick of deleting them.
Thankyou

You can't do much about it, except maybe bump up the spam filter settings for that account. Congratulations, you're now on some lowlife's spam list

You aren't getting someone else's email – what is happening is that your email address appears in the "BCC" line that the recipient's won't see. There's probably several recipients on the same email, one of them being the "TO" line

Great. Im getting everything from weight loss pills to enhancing pills to make your sex life better. But i only seem to get these emails once my emails are up and working which in my case at the moment it is not.So i will get double when it is finally working. How do fix the spam filter setting to stop this?

In your members section, under manage email, there's a section for changing the anti-spam settings on indiviual accounts

(which incidentally is mislabelled "change password" )

We actually have a proper configurable anti-virus/anti-spam system in place now. The default settings block a lot of spam and a customer can modify and add additional settings in their members section.

For example, grey-listing and spam-assassin are not enabled by default, but a customer is free to enable them if they wish.
