Hello, i have spent all day with dodo sales discussing their combined adsl2+ and phone deal, but ran into a few areas which seemed a bit gray... The salespeerson has promissed me that i will be getting a min speed of 20,000mbps to me that sounds great but i dont really believe this as my current adsl2+ only gets half that speed!, So i would like to ask what sort of maximum download speeds in kBs are people getting with dodo on adsl+? secondly are all calls transferred to an overseas phone centre? And last question what is your expierience with dodo? would any1 suggest them? |

yeah this blokes right, read my post i just put up "why i didnt sign up with dodo" i didnt even get to the stage of using them yet, after speaking to 9 different people, verifying my identy a billion times, sometime 4 – 5 times during a single phone call. and after telling them i was no longer interested being charged anyways for the service. thats without any speed issues or anything else DONT DO IT – worst sign up ive done in my life ! but if you work nights its great because they ring you at 10pm to verify your details again !!!! |

a min speed of 20,000mbps I can promise you anything sign up, sign up now! sounds great but i dont really believe And so you should disbelieve it. what is your expierience with dodo? Dodo goes, Dodo Stops... Immediate action avoid getting onto the phone because it is a waste of time, outage is outage and they do happen, no not frequently but they do happen. Dodo is considered the worst ISP for customer service, or is that the best for ignoring the needs of the sucker... oops sorry the user who sign to discover the fairgo policy means the unlimited IS limited and you can't bit torrent 24/7 and run up 300 Gigabyte a month or you get the letter of disconnection. If you are computer savvy then you will not have to speak to anyone at Dodo and accept the outages when they happen as a fact of life with the bird! |

Do Not sign with DODO. You are promised the world and end up beating your head up against a wall. I was promised a modem then refused one. My connection drops out if I answer my phone and I have adsl. Foresight is a beautiful thing. |

promissed me that i will be getting a min speed of 20,000mbps Well, little 'm' is milli- prefix, which is /1000 so 20 bits/sec sounds a tad slow to me :) 20Gbps (20,000Mbps) is just too stupid to believe when ADSL2 has a max download speed of 20Mbps if you're close to the exchange on an excellent line and there's no network congestion. A dodo connection will be no faster than your existing ADSL2. If anything it may be slower due to over-subscribing what bandwidth dodo have now. Surely you can find a better plan elsewhere? Plus dodo service is bad enough for ADSL, why buy more trouble switching your phone over as well? Though here I'm biased 'cos I have a $19.95/month telstra phone line, others cannot match it. People joining dodo on current plans need to better evaluate the options, see: http://bc.whirlpool.net.au/ No way I'd join dodo these days, I'm only here now 'cos I got on the old unlimited (well, now restricted to 60GB/month, or else) plan years ago. |

They are the worst ISP i have been with so i wouldn't recommend them at all. If you don't have a choice then good luck as you will need it otherwise go elsewhere and save alot of headaches. |

wow i had my doubts about dodo but after reading your sides i will take your word for it, i am currently with supernerd (ex koala, and blitz customer) i sharred my sagas with them over time, some of you may know the stories, but it makes my isp sound like heaven compared to dodo, i got interested in their new rhodium plan, 200GB a month for less than $100 sounds good, but it turns out they also count your uploads. good luck talking with some1 in Australia, i spent 20min asking to be transfered to a local call centre, honestly any company in Australian should not sell of their jobs overseas just for profit, thats just plain wrong, so much for supporting the economy. AND, NO I DID NOT SIGN UP WITH THEM< SO THANK YOU ALL 4 THE GOOD ADVICE :) |

Their english is not so good Good on you for not going with them. |

No offense but you sound like a noob. Please don't join Dodo we have enough one hit wonder 'WAAAH DODO SAID GOD HIMSELF WOULD GUARANTEE YADA YADA YADA AND INSTEAD I GOT YABA YABA YABA!" threads on here. If you read what Dodo are offering and don't need to ask any questions and understand their reputation then by all means sign up to them. If it sounds too good to be true then it probably is, and Dodo staff are notorious for promising the world. Shard (extremely satisfied 1.5mb unlimited Dodo customer) |

You haven't even signed on the dotted line yet it's taken you all day and you are still unclear. Don't Go with DODO ! Unless you wish to lose your sanity. |
