I'm not complaining (have a speaker and display phone), just shocked.

I have called the Westnet Accounts phone number and, as I post this, I have been waiting on hold for 25 minutes (haven't spoken to anyone yet).

There has always been a wait with the Accounts team but I can't recall it ever being this long before.

Hopefully this is just an isolated busy period and not a common occurrence these days.

Edit: 35 minutes total before someone answered.

meh.... when i was with Optus i was on hold for over 2 hours once.. I have found westnet to be very very quick the few times i have called them.

Probably just an isolated busy time as you mentioned.

If you do find you are having to wait ages, you should just leave a message on the call back feature, saves you having to wait.

Banks are worse, and at least you don't have to press a million numbers.

I have found them to answer my call's within 5 minutes usually instant most of the time.

My Mum works for the ANZ, thats why the wait times are so low :P

Just called Westnet Supports Team and was not able to get contact with them. I was on hold for over 30mins.

Are there any issues?

Support are busy at the moment, if you keep trying you'll get through, eventually.

It might be worth waiting for a bit and then trying again.
