G'day.
In the last week i've run into a problem of certain websites no longer loading.
before last week www.tankspot.com and www.4chan.org loaded fine, now they just time out.
I'm on the wynnum(brisbane) exchange, so i went to my girlfriends house who is also with tpg and tested them on her exchange (Yeronga) and they didn't load there either.

I asked friends with other ISP's and they load fine. What is going on?

cheers

Hey Jason.
Using the looking glass tool, both websites seem to be up and running(nslookup, trace and ping giving results)

I just tried a dns flush (ipconfig -dnsflush) but it did not help.

any thoughts?

**edit** 4chan is actually down. so we can take that off the list.

tankspot on the other hand is up according to down for everyone or just me

Might be these instructions from the troubleshooting proxy issue sticky on TPG's forum: http://www.tpg.com.au/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2188

Hmm, Tankspot is working fine here...

This is the second part of a series of articles regarding WotLK that will be presented over the coming weeks. Xav was asked to write this due to experiences and knowledge as a tester and as a main tank for Premonition of Alleria-US.

Are you still having trouble getting in???

G'Day,

Are you sure? I just tried and got "Huh? doesn't look like a site on the interwho."

Regards

Edit: using proxy1 or proxy2.tpgi.com.au

Edit1: just tried using a different ISP that terminates in Singapore... the site www.tankspot.com does not respond.

I have heard that TPG keeps getting banned from 4chan because a TPG user keeps uploading illegal stuff from the proxy??

I am not a TPG user and I do not visit this site however I found that quite disturbing.

Hi
www.tankspot.com works for me but i am using proxy2.tpg.com.au, loaded up just fine. I didn't bother with www.4chan.org considering everyone else in the thread did say it was down.

Can anyone provide pointers re how to change tpg proxy? I'm in Qld & experiencing intermittent page loading errors on sites that are confirmed to be working.
