Hi everyone – I've got a vodafone 3G plan with the Huawei E800 express card.
It works perfectly on my macBook Pro through the express slot ..
But I need to use it on the MacBook. I have bought an express to USB adapter.
The card flashes, and in the vodafone internet it picks up a signal and I click 'Activate' and it works. BUT, then I open up internet connect ... all the same information is there (with the user and password blank) – I hit connect, and it establishes connection but then sits on "Authenticating user" until it times out.
It does this if I use the adapter on either laptop ... but always works on the macBook Pro through the express slot ...
Can someone help me get it work though the adapter? Thanks in advance
