Just quick qestion do different isp's set a different standards on line length as it is my understanding that the previous occupants of this house had adsl. The line could have changed since disconnection and the cable pairs that used to be associated with the address reallocated. Email me your details to wpenquiry@iprimus.com.au and i'll do another SQ if you like and give you the cable length. I'll also see if there is anything else we can do or offer you :-) Thanks |

Mick thanks for all your help. Someone has suggested that I ask for a 6h deployment class as this allows for longer lines and unlimitted loss. As things stand at the moment its looking like satellite and i really dont want to go down that path. |

Mick thanks for all your help. Someone has suggested that I ask for a 6h deployment class as this allows for longer lines and unlimitted loss You failed on all deployments so that would be 6A and 6H. Everyone automatically goes on 6H anyways, and most of the time if you fail A you will fail H anyways. We put everyone on 6H by the way. What your issue was that even though you're 6233 meters from the exchange, practically the whole length of it was .40 gauge cable so the signal loss is just way too high. Also as advised in your email the HSPA coverage in your area isnt good enough either :-( Sorry, |
