Hi there,
I've just signed up today with iPrimus.
Have some questions here,

1. I've selected DD from Bank as payment method, can I change in the future?
2. If I use CC as payment method, would this speed up the procces? As I was inform that I've have to fill in a form for the DD method, afraid that will delay the process of churning(not too sure do the payment has to go through first before the application can be process).

Thanks

Hi Syncm,

Welcome aboard... remember to add iPrimus as your ISP in your profile :-)

Yes you can... you can have Direct Debit from a Credit Card or a Savings/Cheque account. You can also pay at a Post office and by BPay or over the phone but these will attract a $2.50 non direct debit fee.

See: http://primus.com.au/PrimusWeb/HomeSolutions/HomePhone/PayingYourBill/

You can do this over the phone. The form is another way of doing it. It wont speed up the churn or order as these are done ASAP anyways... If you have your customer number and want to activate DD without the form just call Customer Service or jump on LiveChat https://server.iad.liveperson.net/hc/20206613/?cmd=file&file=visitorWantsToChat&site=20206613&byhref=1&SESSIONVAR!skill=Default%20Ticket%20Skill&imageUrl=https://toolbox.iprimus.com.au/images

It should have been given to you at the end of sign up.

If you are churning your phone number over from another provider then we can just search off the phone number :-)

LiveChat/Cust Serv can search off phone number, customer number, username, and surname.

Also LiveChat is 128bit encryption just like NetBanking so if you give your CC or Bank Details they are safe... also the system does log transcripts but will not log one when it picks up a credit card number or BSB and account number in the chat.

Hi Mick,

Just wondering, is there any possiblities that the process can be speed up?
I dont wanna get charge from previous ISP for next month as they are going to increase the price, that why I churn asap. It would be good if all things can be done before 31st this month.

Thanks

Got your email...

Your sale was done on 14/07/2008 so still has not churned over.

Good news is you passed an SQ check for ADSL2+.
I did a check and showing DSL with another ISPs codes on there... so what would happen is i'll fast churn you over ASAP on 1500/256 so you can start using Primus, and then allocate you a 2+ port and migrate you... once migration is done you'll be on 2+... So you're looking at about 11 days on 1500/256 until 2+ kicks in.

I'll let you know the progress as i do it... just waiting on the churn to complete for your phone.

Thanks
Mick

I just checked on my application just now,
I was told that the phone migration has been completed on the 18th July, now awaiting the braodband under migration as well. But they said will take up to 10 working days to be complete for the broadband.

This make my a bit of worry, as I mention before, if the churn not complete by 31st this month, i'll be charge by my current ISP for next month usage, which I dont want to (the price increase a lot),
just wondering, could you help me out or can you roughly specific which date will be complete. If cant be done by 31st, i'll have to cancel my current ISP service before the charges come in.

btw, do I need to inform Telstra that I am no longer using their phone service?

would appreciate if someone can tell me.
Thanks!!

Hey Syncm,

Your cutover is set for 29-JUL-2008 so it will be done before the 30th... :-)

So you'll be right to cancel your account with the other SP.

So i'll have to call up telstra and current ISP to cancel all services?
Or just leave it as it and wait for the final bill?
Thanks!

Your would need to call them to cancel. Even if you dont it is best to do so as a precaution.

On FastChurn some ISP's would keep your account open so that way you dont lose emails etc...
