Yeah, it is a bit worse than normal.
My main beef about IPTV is that my exchange has been stuck on "limited" for 7 months and there is nothing worth watching on these 7 channels.

I'm experiencing a lower quality than usual as well.
Often the picture will either get pixelated or just cut.
Sound stays good

Thanks. I have now relative good quality. So no big issue for the moment from me.

[EDIT: okie, after a few minutes, I think I still have this pixelation issue although better than yesterday]

Did that yesterday – service appears to be back to normal this morning (Caulfield Vic. exchange).

We get lots of stuff here criticising TPG service – perhaps this is an opportunity to congratulate Dan S. and his team. I've had a few occasions to contact them by email. They always respond promptly and constructively.

I was particularly impressed when on one puzzling occasion where I could see IPTV packets coming through but VLC was giving only a black screen, that they identified and solved the problem in about 15 minutes after getting me to submit a Wireshark dump. That tells me there's plenty of technical know-how there.

As a Linux user I've also been impressed that the IPTV forum has information on exactly how to configure iptables. It's refreshing to find Linux support

Well done people.

Although I didn't get any response, I am happy too the problem solved. Every time I had issue/query about IPTV, Dan S. floats out here and try to do something. Thumbs up.
