Whirlpool

I've got a TP-LINK 8840 4-port router, with Bigponds ADSL2+ 25GB plan, and I experience dropouts, say 5 times a day.

I'm thinking it may be the configuration settings for my router, I've taken screenshots of the router's setup 'wizard', I'm not sure if all the settings are correct:

You have your username showing as @bigpond

Your username should be your email address, which will more than likely be @bigpond.com

My email ends in @bigpond.net.au, although for some reason I think this would not matter, but I'll try it anyway.

Does it still drop out when the modem is in isolation mode?

Sorry, I'm not sure what isolation mode is?

username is correct for a .net.au address, don't put .com

Chap authentication is the only thing i can see that would need to be set.

isolation mode is modem on ph line with no filters or phones

if you can post here, why didn't you check bigpond's help section?
