Exetel bumps ADSL2+ quotas

2008-Sep-29, 10:00 pm

IN BRIEF | Exetel continues to chip away at its plans, increasing the quota on its low and medium level ADSL2+ plans.

The changes affect both naked and phone bundled ADSL2+ plans provided through Optus DSLAM infrastructure. The entry level plan now has included quota of 1GB peak and 1GB offpeak instead of a flat rate charge of $4/GB. Other plans have seen an increase in peak quota of between 15% and 300%, while top end plans of 54GB and 72GB have received no jump in quota.

Exetel recently expanded its relationship with Optus and is now also selling a 3G broadband product. The plans have a unique pricing structure where all involve a $5/month cost, with no included data. Usage is charged at between 1.5c/MB and 2.5c/MB depending on the plan and how much you download.
