Lets Go renewed by EFTel backing

Discount ISP "Lets Go" has announced a new set of low-price ADSL2+ plans after its parent company Concept Networks was purchased by EFTel earlier this month.
The new plans include naked ADSL2+ offerings at $45/month for 10GB peak, 30GB offpeak, and $60 for 30GB peak, 30GB offpeak. Also on offer are phone bundled packages for $10 more that include a working phone line.
Lets Go launched with a bang in late 2006, offering what was then a very cheap ADSL2+ deal via Optus DSLAMs. At the time, there were question marks over whether the plan was sustainable at such a low price. The company claimed it was able to save money by using offshore call centres and other cost control measures.
Inevitably, the popularity of the plan saw a flood of complaints from customers due to network slowness, and Lets Go ended up increasing its pricing.
But according to EFTel general manager John Lane, his company's involvement will avoid such issues occurring again. "EFTel has returned Letsgo to its roots as the most radical discounter of ADSL2+ in the country, and because of the backing by EFTel, this is sustainable", he said.
