Broadband submissions published
2008-Jul-2, 1:15 pm
The federal government has published a large number of submissions on the regulatory issues surrounding the proposed new national broadband network.
"These submissions are available to inform proponents when formulating proposals to build and operate the National Broadband Network", said Senator Stephen Conroy. "The Panel of Experts, which will assess proposals for the National Broadband Network, has received the submissions and is able to take them into account in evaluating proposals."
The submissions come from a range of sources, including individuals. From groups such as ATUG (Australian Telecommunications Users Group) and IIA (Internet Industry Association), to ISPs such as Telstra, iiNet and Internode, to companies such as Google and Intel. There's even a submission from someone identified only by the name "Brad".
The submissions can be found on the DBCDE website.
