iiNet boosts quotas
2008-Jul-1, 6:00 pm
IN BRIEF | iiNet has increased the quotas on its range of ADSL plans, with customers being given the benefits automatically today.
The increases are quite significant for some plans, with a 50% bump in quota not uncommon. Some high end plans remain unchanged however, and one very popular plan (Home 5) only gained 5GB in peak (less than 10%). The entry level Naked DSL plan has also not seen any change.
It is worth noting that iiNet's standard ADSL2+ plans still do not count uploads, despite the switch made when its "naked" plans were introduced.
The upgrades will be a welcome bonus for iiNet customers, many of whom were disappointed in April last year when iiNet's last round of plan updates resulted in no change to bundled ADSL1 and ADSL2+ plans.
