Sorry if this is the wrong section, but I guess since its the job section, people can relate to this topic.

I just got a new job and have a security card to access doors, but I hate having to keep it in my wallet and pulling it out all the time.

Where can I get those holders, where the card fits inside a plastic sleeve and has a retractable string that attaches to your pants or to your belt holder.

Thank you

Is it a proximity card? They usually work through my wallet / pants. :)

not all cards and scanners work at a distance most need near contact to work as security for a office.

You shouldn't really buy one, they should provide you with one. Ask at the reception/building security/building managment...
Security would have it in most cases...
